8. Talk about Huw and Megan’s relationship. Their love lasted a lifetime, but do you think it could be the same after fifty years? Is love the same at sixty than at sixteen?

Well, I think that Huw and Megan's relationship is very unreal: love doesn't remain after all those years being separated in real life. We must notice that "Two Lives" is a book, not something like a reality-show.
I think that their love remained after all that time because of all the obstacles they found on the way. That made their love stronger and longer.

Huw and Megan had to accept things as they came. They didn't have news from each other for a long time, so each of them tried to go on living without the other. They met other people and, for some time, perhaps they forgot each other and were happy, but it wasn't forever because when they were together again, they had no doubt about their feelings. They had lost fifty years, their love couldn’t be the same, but there was nothing they could do to change that, they could only spend the rest of their lives together.
